In this episode we celebrate Thanksgiving by naming the things we are most thankful for in pop culture.
We of course must start that conversation with a buzzfeed quiz that lets us know with which TV family we should spend Thanksgiving.
We also include a piece of Kanye West's "Ultralight Beams" from the Life of Pablo and short clip of the podcast More Perfect. That clip is from the episode "Object Anyway".

It’s election day. You could watch people get mad at each other on
the news and social media all day. Or you can listen to us good
naturedly disagree about things that both do and don’t matter.
This seems more fun.

First, make sure you listen to part 1 and then come back and listen to this one.
In this part, we push a little deeper and dive into some of the politics and social commentary of Luke Cage.
Check out show notes at popcultureanthropologist.tumblr.com for the articles that informed this conversation.

The cast plays a game entitled “Did He Say It?” which requires Nathan
and Rachel to figure out which Luke Cage quotes come from the comic
book and which come from the mind of Drew Strange.
Then we get serious and talk about the complicated but fascinating world of Luke Cage.

Rachel, Nathan, and Tayli get together to take personalty tests (but only the ones we can afford to) and decide whether or not they are helpful.
We took a random buzzfeed quiz, a short Myers Briggs, and the Enneagram.
For show notes including all the tests we took go to popcultureanthropologist.tumblr.com

Illustrator and Designer Nathan Douglas Yoder (http://nathandouglasyoder.com/) has a conversation with us about how he was able to change his art direction and best find his voice. In the conversation he talks about the importance of keeping others in mind even when he is doing work that must be done alone and how that applies to even those who might not artists.

In this episode Rachel and her friends Tayliana Rains and Mariah Johnson talk about the 1975 and their album "I Like it When You Sleep for You are so Beautiful but so Unaware" and the way our varied perceptions affect our listening experiences.
What is your favorite song from the album? Let us know in a comment or email us at popcultureanthropologist@gmail.com
You can listen to the album or buy it just about anywhere but there is an itunes link in the show notes. This episode included bits from the songs "Love Me" and "If I Believe You". The album is distributed by Interscope.
